THE POOLS
Woodland View is a great venue for margin fishing for carp on the pole. Small reeded areas are good to target, as well as near any overhanging trees or bushes. Try luncheon meat or the Woodland View Soft Hooker pellets, available on site.
The well-stocked tackle shop has everything you could need at WoodlandView Fishery.
Some swims are also great for feeder fishing, and a small open-end feeder. Also softened pellet is perfect used as a running rig. Try hair-rigged luncheon meat or sweetcorn on the hook, and recast regularly to the same spot for the best action.
There are plenty of silver fish in Woodland View, so try fishing a whip or the top two sections of your pole with maggots on the hook. Keep feeding maggots around your float for a great day’s roach and rudd fishing.
